Hi Redd,
Actually my name is Sharon, and I'm Darrell's girlfriend. He's told me about playing with you years ago at O.T. Price's and can't say enough good things about your musical abilities. I think he was with "Midnight Rose Band" at that time.

So here's my question for you: Soon after I met Darrell just over a year ago, we were listening to KPIG here in Santa Cruz and they played a Merle Haggard tune called "The Train They Call The Miner Silver/Gold" or something close to that. It was so beautiful and I can't find it on any of his CDs. I think it's a new song; Darrell thinks it's an old song. So we're appealing to your musical expertise for help!

Hey, maybe we'll see you in Santa Barbara! ~ Sharon

Redd what can I say. Your playing is so great. You have definatley gave hope to young musicians like myself that real country music will never die. Keep it up man we love you. Your version of wine me up with heybale was the inspiration for a sunday morning jam that i posted on youtube. Keep it up pal, you are one of the last true blue country pickers of the time.
Cheers!

It's nice to see that Redd won somebody's grandmother..., since there is now a flashing message on the default page that he is a "GRANNY WINNER"

Education is such a bargain, too... :)

Hi Redd!
I just got your lesson DVD the other day, and I am very impressed by the way you play the Telecaster :-)
Not just how you do it, but also the sound. Is it a old Fender twin amp you use on the dvd, or something else?
I'm trying to find a good amp for my Strat and tele. And I love your sound, so I would be happy, if you would tell me what amp you use.
Keep on rockin, come and visit Denmark, we love country, blues and rock'n'roll!

Hey Redd--howzabout you tell your minions to get busy and make some more copies of "Stolen Licks." I got a couple bucks burnin' a hole in my pocket.
